Analytical Labs - McGill Chemical Engineering

The Analytical Labs in our department, managed by Mr. Andrew Golsztajn and Mr. Ranjan Roy, serve as a central hub for cutting-edge research and advanced analytical capabilities. Equipped with state-of-the-art instruments, the labs support a wide range of research areas, including environmental monitoring, materials characterization, chemical analysis, and life sciences. The labs house high-performance equipment such as HPLC systems, GC-MS instruments, ICP-OES and ICP-MS spectrometers, and SEM systems, providing precise and reliable analysis for trace-level quantification, molecular identification, and surface imaging. Additional resources, including UV/Vis spectrophotometers, TOC/TN analyzers, density meters, and particle size analyzers, enable researchers to tackle diverse challenges with accuracy.
