Imaging and Molecular Biology Platform

The Imaging and Molecular Biology Platform serves as a centralized resource for microscopy and molecular biology equipment, established as part of the Green Chemistry CFI initiative. The platform provides essential instruments, comprehensive training, and dedicated assistance to both internal and external researchers.

The platform offers a wide array of microscopy services, encompassing advanced techniques such as confocal/multiphoton and high content microscopy, alongside standard epifluorescence day-to-day microscopes and associated analysis software. In addition to imaging, the facility is equipped with histological tools and provides automated slide staining capabilities.

For molecular applications, the platform supports both quantitative and qualitative sample analysis. This includes services like quantitative Polymerase Chain Reaction (qPCR) and Bioanalyzer for sample quality control and quantification. The platform's comprehensive offerings aim to facilitate cutting-edge research in various biological and medical fields.
