The Jewish General Hospital Cell Processing Centre (JGH CPC) at the Lady Davis Institute for Medical Research (LDI) functions as a crucial infrastructure designed to support early phase clinical trials involving cell-based and derived therapies. Its core mission is to facilitate the processing of human cells and tissues required for these studies, ultimately aiming to provide patients with access to cutting-edge, experimental cellular pharmaceuticals for the treatment of catastrophic human illnesses.

The facility operates a clinical-grade, ISO Class 7 certified Clean Room, complemented by a dedicated Laboratory Annex. This highly sterile and controlled environment is managed by a team of qualified personnel, including the Laboratory Director and Research Associate, who possess a proven track record in the successful implementation and prosecution of custom cellular pharmaceuticals for Phase I clinical trials in patients with advanced diseases.
