The Zeiss 7-MP is a multiphoton-only system. There are no visible lasers on it, which keeps the whole optical path optimised for deep two-photon work.

Configuration. Upright stand with a 4-channel PMT and a Coherent Chameleon laser tunable from 700 to 1000 nm. Z-stacks and time lapse are supported. Live imaging covers in vivo and brain slice work, with incubation heating and a CO2 bubbling perfusion pump.

Objectives. 20x/1.0 W dipping.

Software. Zen 2010, with Zen Lite available as a free viewer. Laser use authorization 4153.
