SimuLPBF is a self-developed simulation tool designed for modeling the Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) process at the full part level. Built upon the open-source finite element library Deal.II, it simulates multiple physical processes using advanced finite element techniques. This tool assists designers, manufacturers, and researchers in estimating potential printing failures induced by thermal cycles and optimizing process parameters to enhance part performance. Key features include:, - Customizable temperature-dependent material properties., - Simulation driven by scanning path files., - Parallel computing capabilities., - Incorporation of line and hybrid heat sources., - Efficient adaptive mesh and material deposition strategies.
