Ce que les chercheurs peuvent faire

Custom image processing and instrument development from the MIC. Beyond analysis of existing data, the team designs and builds bespoke optical and electronic hardware for researchers, including open-source LED drivers and a DIY epifluorescence macroscope. Billed at $160 per hour.

A recently introduced service at the CRL Molecular Imaging Center covering both custom image processing and ground-up technology development.

What this covers. Custom image processing, analysis pipelines and quantification for existing datasets; design and fabrication of bespoke optical and electronic instrumentation; and open hardware development, published so other labs can build on it.

Recent devices built for customers. The 30 mm Cage Plate LED Driver is a self-contained LED and driver board compatible with the Thorlabs 30 mm cage plate system, with an adjustable current limit up to 3 A. The DIY Epifluorescence Macroscope and High Power Illuminator is an open-source macroscope built around the Olympus XLFLUOR 4x/0.28 NA objective, giving a 4.7 mm by 4.7 mm field of view at 1.5 um resolution with a three-channel 27 A LED illuminator, released under CC BY-SA 4.0.

Rate. $160 per hour. Contact the MIC to scope a project.
