    Kinesis II Training System

    Concordia University

Primary Function: The Technogym Kinesis One Training System, powered by patented FullGravity™ Technology, offers a comprehensive functional training experience. It incorporates a 360° rotating pulley system, enabling free movement on three planes (frontal, sagittal, and transverse) without cable interference, allowing users to activate complete kinetic chains rather than isolated muscles. This design supports natural, tri-dimensional movements as in real life.

    Technical Specifications:

    1. Pulley System: Patented 360° rotating pulley system with three pivoting pulleys on each arm ensuring smooth cable sliding.
    2. Movement Capability: Enables movement on three planes (frontal, sagittal, and transverse), allowing users to move freely without cable interference, thanks to FullGravity™ Technology.
    3. Resistance System: Features a digital dial for seamless resistance adjustment from 0 to 20. The Kinesis One specifically utilizes two independent weight stacks, offering load levels from 1 to 16, which allows for varied workloads and simultaneous use by two individuals.
    4. User Capacity: Designed for 2 users simultaneously, performing different exercises with different workloads.
    5. Handles: Equipped with magnetic ergonomic handles that can be attached directly to the arm pulleys, offering three optional positions (lower, lateral/long ways, upper).
    6. Space-Saving Design: Features collapsible arms and can be switched between a relaxed (handles pushed back) and active mode using a foot lever.
    7. Data Collection: While the original system may not have been equipped with a Technogym Wellness System Key Reader, modern Kinesis systems integrate with the Technogym App, providing guided workouts, sessions, and routines for personalized training.

    Dimensions (Kinesis One/Personal):

    1. Closed (LxWxH): 45 x 170 x 210 cm (18” x 67” x 83”)
    2. During Operation (LxWxH): 115 x 170 x 210 cm (45” x 67” x 83”)
    3. Minimum Frontage Required for Use: 2 meters (79”)

    Weight (approximate):

    1. Heritage Version: 240 kg (528 lbs)
    2. Vision Version: 280 kg (616 lbs)

Applications: Ideal for functional training, strength and conditioning, rehabilitation, and sports performance. It allows for over 200 exercises without equipment adjustment, improving strength, coordination, flexibility, posture control, balance, and daily movement patterns. It is particularly effective for enhancing core stability and replicating sport-specific movements (e.g., tennis, golf, swimming).

Availability & Pricing Context: New Technogym Kinesis Personal models (which share many features with Kinesis One) start from approximately $19,200, including delivery and installation, with an estimated delivery time of 6-7 weeks. Remanufactured units may be available for around $9,499.00.
