    Training & Technical Support - Advanced BioImaging

    Our training and technical support services provide hands-on guidance for microscopy, imaging techniques, and data acquisition. Whether you're new to advanced imaging systems or need assistance with troubleshooting, our experienced staff can help optimize your workflow, improve image quality, and ensure proper instrument use. Training is appointment-based and tailored to specific research needs.

    The general information and guidelines for all training requests are outlined below. All users are expected to comply with the following procedure:

     

    1. Contact the ABIF 4-6 weeks before requiring access to equipment.
    2. Submit a completed TRAINING REQUEST FORM
    3. User must specify:
    • Fluorochromes/fluorophores
    • Type of sample (tissue vs cells, living vs fixed)
    • Billing Information
    1. You will be contacted by the facility staff to set up a brief (~30 minute) consultation to determine the needs of your project and the approporiate equipment for training. A training session will be scheduled shortly afterwards.
    2. TRAINING WILL NOT BE SCHEDULED IF THE FORM IS INCOMPLETE.
    3. Verify the Imaging FEE STRUCTURE you will be under.
    4. Read the ABIF's RULES OF USE.
    5. Have a sample ready for the training session.
