The Flexcell Kit includes a Flexcell FX-5000 bioreactor for strain applications, a computer and a sample preparation area. The bioreactor uses a 6-well plate format to apply equibiaxial strain of 0.1-10% at 0.1-1 Hz to 2D cultures and 3D gels, and stimulates up to four 6-well plates at once.
A waveform generator lets you set strain profiles by hand or program regimens to run automatically.
