Mice are injected intraperitoneally with 2 mg/g of glucose, and samples are collected at 0, 2, 5, 15 and 30 minutes to measure glucose and insulin. The fee includes housing and the biochemical assays. Mice from an inbred strain with low inter-animal variability run alongside each group, under the same procedure.
