    Primary Function: A single channel, tetra polar bioimpedance spectroscopy (BIS) device for the estimation of body composition in healthy individuals.

    Technical Specifications:

    1. Channels: Single channel
    2. Polarity: Tetra polar
    3. Frequency Scan Range: Scans 256 frequencies between 4 kHz and 1000 kHz.
    4. Measurement Capabilities: Utilizes Cole modeling with Hanai mixture theory to determine total body water (TBW), extracellular fluid (ECF), and intracellular fluid (ICF) from impedance data. Fat-free mass (FFM) and fat mass (FM) are then calculated on the device.
    5. Data Analysis: Supports further data analysis in supporting software; no population-specific prediction equations (algorithms) are required for data analysis.

    Applications: Body composition analysis, fluid balance assessment, health and fitness research.
