    The Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Facility at the Centre for Research in Biopharmaceuticals and Biotechnology (CRBS), in collaboration with the Quebec/Eastern Canada High Field NMR Facility (QANUC), provides state-of-the-art NMR spectroscopy for small molecule characterization and protein structure determination.

    Key Equipment & Capabilities:

    • 600 MHz NMR Spectrometer with Cold Probe – Offers exceptional sensitivity, enabling detailed structural analysis of biomolecules.
    • Small Molecule Structure Determination – High-resolution spectral analysis for identifying chemical composition and molecular interactions.
    • Protein Characterization with Isotopic Labeling – Supports advanced studies in protein dynamics and 3D structural elucidation, using 2H/13C/15N-labeled proteins.

    This facility is essential for drug discovery, structural biology, and molecular chemistry, providing high-precision tools for analyzing molecular interactions and conformational changes.

    For McGill lab users, unsupervised access is available at $10/hour. Prior training and booking are required.
