    Faculty of Engineering
    Mining & Materials Engineering
    McGill University

The Keyence VHX-5000 is a high-performance digital microscope that redefines optical observation. It features a high camera frame rate and real-time depth composition, allowing for instant, fully focused images across the entire field of view. With a magnification range of 20x-2000x, it supports 3D observation, 2D and 3D measurement tools, and image stitching capabilities (Mosaic) for large area imaging. Its large depth of field and 360° free-angle observation, coupled with various lighting options, make it highly versatile for quantitative metallography and advanced image analysis.
