The CMARC provides year-round animal care and husbandry for a wide variety of laboratory animal models, ensuring that their physiological and psychological needs are met. A team of trained professionals is responsible for maintaining proper nutrition, hydration, environmental enrichment, health monitoring, and accurate record-keeping. The facility ensures that environmental parameters are controlled, contributing to the welfare of research animals.

All new research staff working with laboratory animals are required to attend a facility orientation before gaining access to any animal facility.
