This instrument is similar to the Agilent 6540 Q-TOF system but adds the capability for Supercritical Fluid Chromatography (SFC) in addition to Liquid Chromatography (LC). This provides an orthogonal separation technique, expanding the range of compounds that can be analyzed, particularly those that are difficult to separate by traditional LC. It offers high-resolution, accurate-mass capabilities for complex sample analysis in metabolomics and other fields.
