    The instrument

    Our Bruker D8 Discover determines crystallographic structure and phase composition. Its optics include a nickel filter, a Göbel mirror and a germanium primary monochromator, with a NaI(Tl) scintillation detector. Non-ambient temperature stages cover -180°C to 1600°C.
