Our Advanced Optical Fabrication Infrastructure (AOFI) manufactures and inspects conventional and freeform optical components, from design through testing. Diamond turning, milling, and grinding produce spherical, aspheric, and freeform surfaces in metal, glass, plastic, or ceramic. CNC polishing brings roughness down to a few ångströms, and our profilometers and interferometers verify the machined surfaces.
