The Malvern Zetasizer Nano ZS is a high-performance analytical instrument capable of measuring three fundamental characteristics of particles or molecules in a liquid medium: particle size (0.3 nm to 10 microns), zeta potential, and molecular weight. It employs Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) for size, Electrophoretic Light Scattering (ELS) for zeta potential, and Static Light Scattering (SLS) for molecular weight. The system features Non-Invasive Back-Scatter (NIBS) optics, which enhance sensitivity for detecting aggregates and small particles across a wide concentration range, making it suitable for diverse applications from nanomaterials to proteins.
