    What researchers can do

Fast spinning disk confocal with SoRa super-resolution and targeted photoconversion and photoactivation, for live and fixed samples.

This spinning disk confocal is built for high-speed, high-resolution live-cell imaging and works well on fixed samples too. Its SoRa disk gives super-resolution by optical reassignment without special fluorophores or extra sample preparation, and a digital micromirror device targets light precisely for photoconversion, photoactivation and optogenetics.

    • High-speed spinning disk confocal imaging
    • Super-resolution by optical reassignment (SoRa)
    • DMD-based targeted illumination
    • Live-cell imaging with temperature and 5% CO2 control
    • Live deconvolution (Microvolution)

Runs on the open-source Micro-Manager, so papers with data from this system cite one of the Micro-Manager publications. Room 451J, Weill Neurosciences Building.
