    Leica CM3050S Cryostat

    Primary Function: Cryostat for sectioning frozen tissue samples at low temperatures in tissue processing workflows.

    Key Applications: Histology, neuropathology, and cryopreserved specimen preparation.

    Cryostat to section micro thin sections of tissue. Chamber is cooled to approx -20C, with temperature adjustments available. Chamber light source to illuminate cutting area.


    FEATURES:

    • Tissue sections can be from 5-60um thick.

    • Rapid advancement/retraction of sample head to speed up sample preparation
