The STURTEVANT 2x6 Style 'F' Jaw Crusher is a robust primary crushing unit designed for the size reduction of various materials, particularly ores. It operates by compressing and shearing material between a fixed and a movable jaw plate. This model is capable of processing ore with a maximum diameter of 4 inches (10 cm) and can produce a minimum product size of ¼ inch (0.5 cm). While its throughput can vary depending on the material, it averages approximately 100 kg per hour. Jaw crushers are widely used in the mining industry for ore crushing, in construction for aggregate production and recycling of waste materials like concrete and asphalt, and in quarrying and chemical industries for processing raw materials. Known for their heavy-duty, cast-iron construction, Sturtevant jaw crushers offer durability, ease of maintenance, and an adjustable output size, making them efficient for coarse and intermediate crushing applications with minimal fines production.
