Verhoeff - Connective Tissue Stain

Used to stain elastic fibers, this stain can be used to study atrophy of elastic tissues, tumor invasion into vessels, and vascular disease.
Results: Elastin stains black. If a counterstain is desired, the Verhoeff-Van Gieson stain is recommended.
