BD FACSAria Fusion Cell Sorter

A high-speed, advanced cell sorter built for superior multicolor sensitivity, safety, and performance, integrating a custom-tailored biosafety cabinet for operator and sample protection (BSL1 and BSL2 samples). It can detect up to 20 parameters and sort up to 4 populations simultaneously, including single-cell sorting into multi-well plates for cloning. The instrument features advanced excitation optics, high sensitivity, and resolution, with fiber-launched lasers and a patented gel-coupled cuvette flow cell. It can sort up to ~25,000 events per second and is operated by facility staff.
