Infors HT Multitron Shaker Incubator (Top Unit)

    Faculty of Arts and Science
    Biology
    Concordia University

Primary Function: The INFORS HT Multitron Shaker Incubator is a highly versatile and robust incubator shaker designed for a wide range of high-throughput applications in life science laboratories. Known for its reliability and precision, the Multitron series offers optimal conditions for sensitive biological processes.

This unit, often configured as a 'Top Unit' within a stackable system, maximizes laboratory space while providing extensive capacity and advanced environmental control. It ensures consistent and reproducible results across various experimental setups, from basic microbial growth to complex cell cultures.

    Key Features:

    1. Modular and Stackable Design: Can be configured as a single unit or stacked up to three units high, optimizing lab footprint and increasing throughput.
    2. Advanced Environmental Control: Offers precise control over temperature, shaking speed, and often includes optional CO2 and humidity regulation, as well as integrated cooling for below-ambient temperatures.
    3. High Capacity: Designed to accommodate a large number of flasks and vessels, supporting high-volume culturing and parallel processing.
    4. User-Friendly Operation: Features intuitive controls, often with a touchscreen interface, and includes ergonomic access for easy loading and unloading.
    5. Contamination Control: Some models feature HEPA filtration for Class 10 (ISO 4) air quality and rounded corners for easy cleaning, minimizing contamination risks.
    6. Sustainable Design: Recognized for low energy consumption and use of recycled materials in its construction.
