Our 880 has the "2+1" configuration: one super-cooled multi-alkali, one standard multi-alkali and one GaAsP detector, all spectral. The Airyscan detector can be added to them as a fourth, filter-based channel, for 4 simultaneous fluorescence channels plus 1 transmitted light channel.
You need documented BSL2 clearance before using this scope. It is shared in common, but access must be approved by the 880 confocal oversight committee until further notice; see our Zeiss 880 external user policy. If you publish data from this scope you must cite NIH S10 Grant 1S10OD23528-01.
A 24-hour block is also available: $510.25 for UCSC users, $798.55 for external non-profit users and $1,597.09 for companies.
