CFBE-WT cells are a cystic fibrosis bronchial epithelial cell line used to study the pathophysiology of cystic fibrosis. These cells are wild-type for the CFTR gene, allowing for studies of normal CFTR function and comparisons with CFTR-mutant cell lines., Provided at a concentration of 10^6 cells/mL, these cells are cryopreserved for optimal viability. They are typically cultured in specialized media designed to support the growth of airway epithelial cells, supplemented with growth factors and antibiotics. Passage number should be kept below P12.
