The BLIQ Video Rate Microscopy (VMS) system is a high-speed two-photon imaging platform engineered for rapid acquisition of deep samples while significantly minimizing photodamage. This system excels in in vivo imaging, making it suitable for a diverse range of specimens, including small animals, organoids, and thick, uncleared brain slices. It boasts fast imaging capabilities, achieving 30 frames per second (fps) at full field of view (1024x512 pixels) and up to 2000 fps at lower resolutions. The VMS features three-channel detection and operates with an infrared laser, which allows for deeper tissue penetration and reduced scattering. Its polygonal scanner ensures constant linear scanning and precise laser positioning, making it ideal for applications requiring high temporal resolution such as calcium imaging, dynamic cellular behavior, optogenetics, and label-free techniques like CARS, SHG, and THG.
