    Coulter Ac-T diff2 Hematology Analyzer

    Concordia University

Primary Function: A hematology analyzer that delivers performance, value, and safety for laboratories, designed for comprehensive blood analysis, particularly suited for physician office labs and smaller laboratories.

    Applications:

    1. Complete blood count (CBC)
    2. 3-part differential blood count
    3. Hematologic research
    4. Clinical diagnostics
    5. Point-of-care testing

    Technical Specifications:

    1. Parameters: Measures 18 hematologic parameters, providing a 3-part differential (RBC, Hgb, Hct, MCV, MCH, MCHC, Plt, PDW, MPV, Pct#, PDW#, WBC, LY#, LY, MO#, MO, GR#, GR).
    2. Speed & Throughput: Quick data acquisition, with results obtained within 1 minute, processing up to 60 samples per hour.
    3. Sample Volume: Requires a small 18 µL sample size in either closed or open vial modes.
    4. Operating Modes: Offers small sample volume in both open and closed analysis modes.
    5. Ease of Use & Maintenance: Easy-to-use system with zero routine maintenance and high system reliability, helping to contain costs.
    6. Data Management: Features automated calibration, quality control evaluation, and data storage for 250 patient results (numerical only, excluding histograms). It can also store up to 93 control results per level.
    7. Precision: Can perform up to 31 replicates of samples to determine precision. Accuracy is further assured through triplicate counting, patented sweep flow technology, and aperture monitoring.
    8. Automation: Onboard calibration and reproducibility files automate statistical calculations.
    9. Interpretation: User-definable high and low flagging of patient results and quality control simplifies data interpretation.
    10. Sampling: Closed vial sampling for controls and calibrators provides operator safety and accommodates a variety of collection tube sizes.
    11. Quality Assurance: Automated quality assurance functions improve productivity.
    12. Design: Compact benchtop design requires only two square feet of counter space.
