    UC Berkeley

    What researchers can do

Fluorescent stereoscope for screening live organisms, with apochromatic 20.5:1 zoom and filter cubes for CFP, GFP, YFP and DS-Red. Well plates are supported. No camera is currently attached, so it is for viewing and screening rather than acquisition. No charge to use.

The Leica M205 is a fluorescent stereoscope used for screening live organisms. There is currently no camera attached, so it is a viewing and screening station rather than an acquisition system.

Configuration. Upright stereoscope with apochromatic 20.5:1 zoom. There are no lasers; filter cubes cover CFP, GFP, YFP and DS-Red. Brightfield is available, again without a camera. Well plates are supported.

    Objectives. 1.0x and 1.6x.
