Our Microsurgery Suite and its two expert microsurgeons develop surgically manipulated mouse models: bariatric surgery such as vertical sleeve gastrectomy (VSG) and Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (RYGB), plus telemeter, data recorder, cannula and osmotic pump implants. We also train investigators and clinicians in microsurgery.

Surgically manipulated models can be tested and sampled here, or shipped from our approved vendor barrier vivarium directly to your institution's vivarium.
