    HiG 3 Automated Plate Centrifuge

    Faculty of Arts and Science
    Biology
    Concordia University

Primary Function: The BioNex HiG 3 is an automated two-bucket plate centrifuge engineered for high-speed centrifugation, delivering superior pelletizing, cleaner supernatants, and faster filtration. It is designed to be highly automation-friendly, reliable, and features exceptional imbalance tolerance, making it ideal for seamless integration into high-throughput laboratory workflows. Its compact and versatile design allows for direct access by a wide range of laboratory robots without an intermediate plate loader, reducing cycle time and enhancing efficiency.

    Applications:

    1. Pelletizing cells and cellular debris
    2. DNA purification and sequencing
    3. Filtration assays
    4. Sample preparation
    5. PCR protocols/assays
    6. Dispense bubble removal
    7. High-throughput experimentation

The HiG 3 is often integrated into comprehensive automation platforms, such as the inSPIRE workstation, which can also include instruments like the Echo 550, Mantis, ViiA 7 RT-PCR, ODTCs, Fragment Analyzer Infinity, ALPS 3000, and XPeel for advanced experimental setups.
