    The instrument

Our four-axis CNC lathe (X, Z, C, B) diamond-turns surfaces with a form error below 0.15 µm PV and roughness under 1.5 nm Ra. It also performs deterministic micro-milling and grinding of freeforms to under 0.20 µm PV and 5 nm Ra.

Its feedback resolution reaches 16 picometers with a programming resolution of 0.01 nm. It accommodates workpieces up to 8 inches in diameter. If needed, machined surfaces can then undergo CNC polishing on our Zeeko IRP 200.
