    L-WRN Conditioned Media

    Chemical Engineering
    McGill University

L-WRN conditioned media is a cell culture supplement containing Wnt, R-spondin, and Noggin. It is used to promote the growth and maintenance of stem cells, particularly intestinal stem cells and organoids. The conditioned media provides a defined source of these growth factors, supporting stem cell self-renewal and proliferation., L-WRN conditioned media is typically produced by culturing cells that secrete Wnt, R-spondin, and Noggin. It is then collected and filtered to remove cells and debris. The conditioned media is added to cell culture medium to supplement the growth of stem cells and organoids. The quantity is often around 10^6 cells/mL.
