    Leica Confocal Microscope

    Overview: The confocal microscope is used for fluorescent imaging of cell cultures and thin tissue samples with high resolution in the z-axis. The imaging software enables specialized imaging functions such as tilescan, mark-and-find, z-stack, and timelapse imaging.

    Features:

    • Microscope: 4 Lasers (405 nm, 488 nm, 561 nm, 635 nm), 3 Objective lenses (10x Air, 40x Oil, 63x Oil), 2 stage inserts (glass slide, 12 well cell culture plate)

    • Computer Specs: HP Z4 Workstation (32 GB RAM, 6TB Disk Space, Intel Xeon W2123 CPU, Windows 10 Enterprise OS)

    • Imaging Software: Leica LAS X (Imaging resolution of up to 2048 x 2048 px possible)

    Applications: Cell imaging, tissue architecture analysis, and live-cell dynamics.
