    Cell sorting

Flow Cytometry CoreFlow Cytometry CoreGladstone Institutes

Sorting on the core's two BD FACSAria Fusions uses five lasers (UV 355 nm, violet 405 nm, blue 488 nm, yellow-green 561 nm and red 640 nm) and up to 18 fluorescent parameters. Sort on functional markers too, such as phospho-flow, cell cycle and mitochondrial assays.

Single cells go into 96-well plates for cloning or downstream sequencing. Collect into 1.5 ml Eppendorf tubes, 5 and 15 ml Falcon tubes, any well plate (12, 24, 48, 96 or 384), Terasaki plates or standard and frosted-end slides. Aseptic sorting is available.
