The Echo Revolve works both upright and inverted, and supports transmitted light, phase contrast, darkfield, polarized light and fluorescence. A 5 MP monochrome camera handles fluorescence and a 5 MP color camera brightfield, and an iPad with a retina display replaces the eyepieces. The nosepiece recognizes which objective is in place.
