Training covers both theory and practice, on the analyzers and sorters alike. It starts with the core's general regulations, which you read and sign, and a short questionnaire about your experience with flow. Then you train on the instrument with the staff.
After training, you show that you can run, maintain and troubleshoot the instrument. From then on you can use it on your own, including outside operating hours and on weekends.
