STAGER: Web Dashboard for Genomic and Exomic Data Management in Rare Disease Research

Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences
    Core Facility
    McGill University

STAGER is an open-source web application developed to facilitate the sharing, monitoring, and analysis of genomic and exomic datasets, particularly within the context of the Care4Rare project—a pan-Canadian initiative aimed at improving the diagnosis and treatment of rare diseases. STAGER enables researchers to manage and analyze large-scale genomics and other omics data efficiently.

    Key Features:

    • Metadata Management: Allows users to input and edit genomic metadata, linking it to relevant datasets for streamlined data organization.
    • Data Upload and Integration: Supports the uploading of dataset files, associating them with corresponding metadata to ensure cohesive data management.
    • Automated Analysis Requests: Enables users to request specific analyses via automated pipelines, tracking their status and retrieving aggregated reports on detected genomic variants.
    • Collaborative Platform: Designed to support collaboration among researchers, facilitating data sharing and collective analysis efforts.

Availability: STAGER is free and open-source, released under the MIT License. Researchers and institutions can access, deploy, and contribute to its development through the GitHub repository.

Note: All resources and documentation are provided in English.

By offering a comprehensive suite of tools for data management and analysis, STAGER enhances the capabilities of researchers working on rare diseases, promoting efficient data handling and collaborative scientific discovery.
