275-Channel CTF MEG 2005 Series - Magnetoencephalography (MEG) System

Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences
    Core Facility
    McGill University

✅ Manufacturer: CTF MEG International Services Limited Partnership (CTF MISLP)

    ✅ Core System Features:

    • 275 axial gradiometer SQUID sensors housed in a head-shaped helmet.
    • Sampling rate: Up to 12 kHz, ensuring high temporal resolution.
    • 29 reference channels for real-time environmental noise reduction.
    • Continuous head position tracking, enabling motion correction during recording.

    ✅ Multimodal Data Collection:

    • 64 simultaneous EEG channels (56 scalp electrodes + 8 bipolar channels).
    • 16 analog input channels for external physiological signal recording.
    • Digital input channels: DB37, two parallel (DB25), and two serial (DB9) ports.

    ✅ Recording Environment:

    • Located in a magnetically shielded room for optimal signal-to-noise ratio.
    • Participant positioning options:
    • Reclining chair for seated experiments.
    • Bed setup for supine positioning.
